Team Spotlight - Flora Tiley, Aire Rivers Trust
Shining a light on staff employed by GYR partners
The Partnership opened its first window to access funding from the £12.2M core project funding in May 2025, part of which is to provide support GYR partners with funding for early project development and staffing.
Flora joined Aire Rivers Trust in February 2026 as a GIS Officer, working as part of the GYR partnership.
Having worked in various GIS roles over the past 10 years at a university, and in the private and charity sectors, Flora is excited to be working at Aire Rivers Trust and see some tangible, local change.
“I truly love all things ecology and map-related! I hope my work can help provide data-driven insights into the complex goings on in the River Aire catchment and support the work of Great Yorkshire Rivers, addressing barriers to promote fish migration.
